A New Tragic Hero: Chinua Achebe’s Okonkwo

Chinua Achebe goes about bringing us a tragic battler in a different way in his maintain novel Things Fall Apart. It tells the story of fearful and angry Okonkwo, who overcompensates for his dumbfounds ill lucks. Okonkwo is such an extreme example of mortal exhausting to separate himself from his past that he brings about his birth failure which is the very thing he fears most.
